Step 1: We started from Emerson Road but you can join the walk anywhere around the park.
Step 2: Turn left after you come in and walk towards the mansion.
Step 3: There's plenty of old trees all around the park.
Step 4: Take a left over the bridge towards the mansion.
Step 5: The mansion was originally built in 1696 and changed hands a few times until the council acquired it in 1912.
Step 6: You can have a walk around or carry on towards this big old owl. There's a cafe just behind it too.
