  Step 1: We were lucky enough to stay at Hever. We arrived after work and were given freedom to enjoy the grounds as the daytime crowds were leaving.

• Step 2: Did you know, Hever Castle is the childhood Home of Anne Boleyn.

• 

  Step 3: The gardens and lakes of the double moated castle are as impressive as the castle itself.

• Step 4: Walk around the lake and appreciate it’s beautiful terraces.

• 

  Step 5: In 1903, Hever was acquired and restored by the American millionaire William Waldorf Astor. Way to go Will, love the fountain!

• 

  Step 6: According to the Hever Castle website, they have over 4,000 roses bushes in the 125 acre site. This photo is from the Italian garden.
