  • Step 1: This is a short circular walk that starts off Winch Lane (Post Code: SA61 1SA). There are several roads to cross which have no pavement.

  • Walk down towards Union Hill.

  • Step 3: Feel free to cross the roads, when you get to pavement on either side of Union Hill. At the bottom of the hill, look out for a entrance to the Priory on your right.

  • There’s a discreet turning to the right hand side which leads into the Priory ruins. The priory was first mentioned around 1200.

  • Step 5: This area is not dog friendly but the Saltings is. When excavations of the priory were completed in the 90s, all of the good material discovered was collected and can now be seen in the local Haverfordwest museum.

  • With the priory to your right, bear left to walk underneath the bridges. Follow the path around.
