  • Start at Bonchurch Landslip car park. Head down the hill (east) to discover a footpath that takes you down some very narrow, steep steps.

    Step 1: Start at Bonchurch Landslip car park. Head down the hill (east) to discover a footpath that takes you down some very narrow, steep steps.

  • Make your way down the hill until you pick up the coastal path signs. Turn right here ➡️

  • Step 3: Enjoy meandering through the trees of the Landslip. Be careful not to trip over the many roots!

  • Step 4: At the next junction, turn right onto footpath 65c. This will take you on an uphill adventure to the Devil’s Chimney, a narrow footpath of steps hidden between stones!

  • Step 6: You’ll emerge at the Smugglers Haven cafe which is not far from where you started.
