  Step 1: There’s free parking here but you have to pay to enjoy the gardens. Get your free parking pass when you purchase your entrance fee.

• Step 2: Did you know that due to Ventnor’s micro-climate, the temperature in the garden is 5°c hotter than anywhere else in the country making the gardens the hottest point in the whole of the UK.

• Step 3: The garden is on the site of the Royal National Hospital for Diseases of the Chest, a sanatorium established there to exploit the same mild climate with south-facing rooms for patients.
