  Step 1: The walk begins at Birkenhead Park Merseyrail station.

• 

  Step 2: Exit through the station doors onto Duke Street and turn right.

• 

  Step 3: Stay on the pavement and follow it along to the next pedestrian crossing to take you over Park Road North.

• 

  Step 4: Cross over Park Road North using the pelican crossing.

• 

  Step 5: Head straight on to continue along Asheville Road.

• 

  Step 6: Did you know that park railings are painted a tone of green called “Invisible Green” so that they blend into the surroundings.
