  Step 1: We began our walk here at the Oast Lounge. If you’re visiting the area by car there is a car park at Waitrose just round the corner.

• Step 2: This impressive Oast Chimney is 75ft & is listed with English Heritage as an Ancient Scheduled Monument. The buildings here are 18th century & once originally part of the local brewery.

  Step 3: As you continue along Priory Lane there will be an opportunity to view the houseboats from the rivers edge.

• 

  Step 4: This area is home to a number of swans.

• Step 5: Continue along Priory Lane until you reach a junction with Market Square. Here you need to cross over carefully. Once you’ve crossed, continue to the right.

• 

  Step 6: Enjoy a quick detour in the Jubilee Gardens before you continue. It was created in 2002 to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee.
