Step 1: Start at English Bay beach which can be reached by bus or car. This walk is completely circular and almost impossible to take a wrong path.

Step 2: This is the Siwash rock which the First Nations people say was once a man transformed into a rock. The tree on the top is a Douglas fir.

Step 3: This is one of the few sea walks in Vancouver. The path is segregated for walkers from cyclists and skaters all the way around.

Step 4: You can explore the interior of the park and see some enormous redwood trees as well as maple, fir and pine.

Step 5: At the furthest point of the walk you can climb to Stanley point for a great view but this will add about an hour to the walk (uphill)

Step 6: Carrying on round will take you past quirky statuary like this mermaid with scuba gear.
