Staines to Windsor Thames Walk

• Step 1: Start at Staines Station. Walk to the exit from platform 1 and take a left along the Station footpath until you reach the main road. Turn left and cross at the lights. Walk along the high street. Grab food or supplies if needed.

• 

  Step 2: Continue & cross the road at the crossing. The road turns onto the bridge on the left side.

• 

  Step 3: This is the view down river towards Laleham. Continue across and take the stairs on the left down to the tow path.

• 

  Step 4: At the bottom of the stairs turn right and walk under the bridge. Continue along the path, which is paved and wide.

• 

  Step 5: Cross over the wooden bridge. The path is more of a woodland walk and is no longer paved.

• 

  Step 6: This is a coal tax post. Here there are also signs advising of path closures. However, the path is open and used so we continued riverside.
