• Step 1: This is a wonderful linear walk that may be muddy in wet or wintry weather. There are a variety of steps and stiles en route. Guidance for returning to the station provided.

• 

  Step 2: Start this walk at the new Seaton Delaval train station on the Northumberland Line network.

• 

  Step 3: Exit the station, head around the new car park to the left.

• 

  Step 4: Head up towards the main road, away from the station.

• 

  Step 5: At the top of the road, opposite the station sign get ready to cross the road.

• 

  Step 6: Cross over Astley Road at the pedestrian crossing.
