• 

  Step 1: Start from MediaCityUK Metrolink station, served by trams from Manchester and other locations. There are also several bus stops nearby.

• 

  Step 2: Exit the station towards the BBC Sport building and turn 90 degrees right, keeping the tall metal-clad columns to your left.

• 

  Step 3: Turn right onto the compacted gravel path past the first planted area, following the sign towards the Blue Peter Garden.

• 

  Step 4: Continue ahead to remain on the light-coloured compacted-gravel walkway between lovely planted beds on your left and right.

• 

  Step 5: It's worth pausing to admire the Blue Peter vegetable patch and garden to your right.

• 

  Step 6: Keep right through the garden area. Over to your left are several pubs, restaurants and cafes, useful for a break.
