• Step 1: We parked in the Pay & Display National Trust car park. They are free to park in if you’re a member. We were aiming for low-tide so we could do some nature-spotting. We arrived around 4pm in May.

• 

  Step 2: We didn’t get time to wander around the sand dunes and woodland but it did look amazing. You could easily take a detour before the beach.

• 

  Step 3: For this route, follow the path up to the beach from the car park. There’s a pleasant spot at the top for picnic.

• 

  Step 4: See!

  Step 5: Follow the path down to the beach.

• 

  Step 6: Watch the windsurfers and sailors sail on in and out of Bembridge Harbour.
