  Step 1: Start this walk from The Greenhouse, home of Liz Earle. With the white gate to your left, bear right around the curve of the road.

• 

  Step 2: At the end of the road turn left onto Great Preston Terrace.

• 

  Step 3: Turn left onto Harding Road, heading downhill.

• 

  Step 4: Turn right onto the High Street.

• 

  Step 5: Turn left down St John’s Hill.

• 

  Step 6: You’ll pass the Ryde St John’s Road station on your left, but keep going straight on, this time slightly uphill, passing The Railway pub.
