• 

  Step 1: Start at Beach Road, make your way through the blue railings to enter the park. Seaforth & Litherland is the nearest station.

• 

  Step 2: Exit on the other side and make your way towards the main path.

• 

  Step 3: Welcome to Rimrose Valley Country Park. It was historically a domestic refuse tip until 1978. The restoration began in 1993.

• 

  Step 4: You’ll find lots of lovely plants and wildlife across the park. These deep purple berries are elderberries.

• 

  Step 5: Continue straight along the main path.

• 

  Step 6: Keep an eye out for the plants and flowers growing alongside the path. So many different shapes and textures.
