  • Step 1: This walk starts at the Forestry Commission car park in, Glenbrittle, Isle of Skye IV47 8TA. In August 2024, it was £6 and there are toilets onsite.

  • Step 2: Many people who visit the famous Fairy Pools will not follow the first section of this route. We deliberately went the other way to avoid the crowds. At the end of the walk we'll visit the waterfalls.

  • Step 3: From the top level car park 🅿️ with your back to the toilets and facing the opposite direction to the fairy pools, continue to the end of the car park until you reach gate and a footpath.

  • Walk round the gate and along the gravel footpath.

Step 4: Walk round the gate and along the gravel footpath.

  • Continue along the track and through the pine forest.

Step 5: Continue along the track and through the pine forest.

  • Enjoy the peace and tranquility as you wander. On either side of the path there are many little waterfalls, mosses and ferns to admire.

Step 6: Enjoy the peace and tranquility as you wander. On either side of the path there are many little waterfalls, mosses and ferns to admire.
