  Step 1: Welcome to Orwell Country Park! This jaunt is going to be taking you around Bridge Wood.

• Step 2: Bridge Wood is close to Euro Retail Park, where you’ll be able to get buses to and from the country park. Buses stop at The Trasher, as well as by Ravenswood Community Primary School.

• Step 3: If you are arriving by car the post code for the Bridge Wood car park is IP10 OJS. The car park is just off Nacton Road/A1189 and over the bridge at the A14. Parking is free.

• 

  Step 4: Turn right at the welcome sign and pass through the metal barrier. Dogs on leads are welcome here.

• 

  Step 5: Orwell Country Park was officially opened to the public in 1995 and has grown to be a 470-acre site over the years.

  Step 6: Where the path forks, take the left hand path.
