  Step 1: Start your walk at the The Dog Inn pub, in Old Sodbury.

• Step 2: If you choose to arrive at the start of the walk by public transport the closest train station is Yate. With buses 69 & 620 stopping nearby.

• 

  Step 3: Follow the Cotswold Way sign between the houses off Cotswold Lane.

• Step 4: Then cross a farmyard to the gate at the right of the barn.

• 

  Step 5: Head diagonally across the field to a kissing gate.

• 

  Step 6: Turn right up the hill, towards the church.
