  Step 1: This walk follows some of the fieldpaths and bridleways around the village of Nettleham, looking at some of our local history on the way.

• 

  Step 2: It’s quite a long walk but it’s been designed to loop back into the village now and again so you can tackle it in sections.

• 

  Step 3: Start on the Village Green. You can tap the map icon at any point to see the route. The “Read More” boxes give further insights as you go.

• 

  Step 4: Nettleham simply means ‘a village where nettles grow’. The village has existed for over 900 years.

• 

  Step 5: Begin by walking past The Plough - the pub dates back to 1690.

• 

  Step 6: Walk along the High Street towards the Church. The street view hasn’t changed much over the years.
