  Step 1: We pick up the trail here off Costessey Lane.

  Step 2: Just down from Costessey Lane cross the River Wensum.

• 

  Step 3: The Marriott’s Way follows the path of two original Victorian train lines: the East Norfolk Railway and the Eastern and Midland Railway.

• 

  Step 4: Here is a mile marker and brass rubbing! Bring paper and crayons to make your masterpiece.

• 

  Step 5: Passing the farmland around the route let’s you see some of the agriculture Norfolk is a key part of.

• 

  Step 6: All of the small brass rubbings are by John Behm.
