  Step 1: The main entrance to Manor Woods Valley is on St Peter's Rise, behind Bishopsworth Library.

• Step 2: If you choose to arrive at the start of the walk by public transport the closest train station is Parson Street. With buses 75, 76, 93X & M1 stopping nearby.

• 

  Step 3: Follow the wall round to the right, before the entrance gate, towards the bridge across the Malago.

• 

  Step 4: The Malago rises from springs on Dundry Hill.

• 

  Step 5: Over the bridge, keep to the left, on the lower path alongside the watercourse.

• 

  Step 6: This depression in the ground was formed on the night of 14 May 1944, during the 'Baby Blitz'. It’s a bomb crater!
