   Step 2: Find this gate after walking through cafe courtyard. If cows are a concern go left to detour around.

   Step 3: A pleasant walk downhill

   Step 4: At the fork keep straight. On a hot day the shade is welcome.

   Step 5: The historic village you can see is Kingsdon, just a mile away.

6. 

   Step 6: There are places to get down to the water. Your dog may find it irresistible, so consider a lead if wet and muddy is not the idea!
