  Step 1: In the fall months, the long drive up to the path is closed so expect to park at the entrance on Blackhawk rd. and walk during that time

• 

  Step 2: When you reach the trail, I recommend starting at the entrance to the left since it’s closer to the gorge and the water.

  Step 4: This part of the path is flat and wide on mowed grass. There are some beautiful wildflowers and you may even see some small animals!
