John Ray walk - Witham to Braintree

1. 

   Step 1: Witham Station starting point. With the station behind you, head to the right and follow the lane around to the junction.

2. 

   Step 2: At the junction you should see this signage to start the John Ray walk. Follow the arrow down Cut Throat Lane.

3. 

   Step 3: Carefully cross the railway, following all signs and warnings when it is safe to do so.

4. 

   Step 4: Continue straight and at the next junction, turn right

5. 

   Step 5: Shortly afterwards, look out for this sign on your left and continue on the John Ray Walk.

6. 

   Step 6: Keep to the trodden path
