  Step 1: Start from Irlam Station car park near the accessible spaces.

• 

  Step 2: Put the station building behind you & walk along the right-hand edge of the car park past boards giving details of the area's heritage.

• 

  Step 3: Enter Station Park & walk ahead along the well-made stony path. For step-free access, go down the pavement by the road. Rejoin at step 9.

• 

  Step 4: Otherwise, continue past the old steam engine and trailers, lovingly preserved by the Hamilton Davis Trust.

• 

  Step 5: Walk ahead along the winding path.

• 

  Step 6: Soon, take the stairs down to the right. There is a useful handrail on the right.
