  Step 1: This walk starts at Irlam train station which has connections to from. Manchester. The friendly cafe (with toilets) is well worth a visit.

• Step 2: Please note that parts of this walk may be damp, muddy and slippery at any time of year and especially after periods of wet weather. Please bear this in mind when planning your trip. Please complete the survey below 👇

  Step 3: There are steps down to well-signposted exits from the station. Take the southern, Liverpool Road exit (the opposite side from the cafe).

• 

  Step 4: Upon exiting the station, take the wide tarmac path to the right.

• 

  Step 5: Continue onto Liverpool Road, using the pavement.

• 

  Step 6: After a short walk down Liverpool Road turn right into Dean Road.
