• 

  Step 1: The walk starts at the National Park Visitor Centre, Haytor TQ13 9XT. Bus 271 stops here and there are public toilets, a shop & info point.

• 

  Step 2: Cross the main road right by the visitor centre and walk ahead on the wide grass path for a short while.

• 

  Step 3: Turn left at the first path and start walking uphill towards Haytor. Dogs must be on a short lead at all times.

• 

  Step 4: The gradient is quite gentle at first as you walk between the gorse.

• 

  Step 5: Continue straight over the path junctions and keep heading uphill. This last stretch is steeper.

• 

  Step 6: You made it! Plenty of rocks to climb up and explore here. Take care, especially when it has been wet.
