  Step 1: Start this step-free loop of Gloucester Park at one of the south entrances. You can join this circular route from any of the entrances.

• Step 2: Gloucester Park is located a 20 minute walk from Basildon station. There are direct trains here from London Fenchurch Street, Shoeburyness, Southend & West Ham. Bus stops are dotted around the park at various entrances too.

  Step 3: Straight away you are greeted with a stunning reed-bed and a small lake, full of birds. Take a moment to soak it all up.

• 

  Step 4: Next up, let’s do a clockwise loop of the park by taking the path off to the left.

• 

  Step 5: Pass by a playground on the left.

• 

  Step 6: Continue ahead, which is north along the main paved path.
