  Step 1: Start at Coniston car park (£8 for the whole day, 2017)

  Step 2: At the village shop, buy snacks and water and head on left up to the start of the walk.

  Step 3: Take a right at the sign post to Elterwater

  Step 4: Through the woods...

  Step 5: Travel along side the road for a short period until you get to a fork in the road. Take the left hand path heading to Tilberthwaite.
