• 

  Step 1: Commence at the lychgate into the churchyard of St Mary's Church, Fishponds and walk through the churchyard and out of the other gate

• 

  Step 2: Turn left out of churchyard gate, then soon right into Guinea Lane up to junction with Manor Road.

• Step 3: At Manor Road, cross road and then turn left along pavement in around 150 metres.

• 

  Step 4: Climb stile at footpath sign and follow path into Laundry Field.

• Step 5: Bear left at the waymark post to far North West corner of field and follow path into woods.

• 

  Step 6: At path T-junction above steep slope turn left alongside high wall; where path diverges steeply downhill keep straight-on on high level path
