• 

  Step 1: Start at Eastville Park Car toilets and head along the path to the right of the playground

• Step 2: If you choose to arrive at the start of the walk by public transport the closest train station is Stapleton Road. With buses 17, 48, 48A, 49, Y2 & Y5 stopping nearby.

• 

  Step 3: Bear right and head towards the steps down to the lake.

• 

  Step 4: Take the old steps down towards the lake.

• 

  Step 5: At the bottom of the steps continue straight ahead to join the walk alongside the River Frome.

• 

  Step 6: Walk past the lovely little weir on the way to the footbridge river crossing.
