  Step 1: Start in the free car park on West Lane in Edwinstowe.

• 

  Step 2: Exit the car park using the footpath by the library. Turn right on to the High Street.

• 

  Step 3: Keep walking down the High Street (it will turn in to Rufford Road) Cross the bridge over the River Maun.

• 

  Step 4: Pass the Dukeries pub on your left hand side, once you go under the railway bridge, turn left on to the footpath.

• 

  Step 5: Public footpath on the left, just after the railway bridge.

• 

  Step 6: Walk along the footpath to Ollerton. You will walk along the right hand side of the old Thoresby Colliery railway.
