Step 2: Welcome to my drawing tour of Chelsea. We will be walking all over Chelsea to see some beautiful architecture and drawings around Chelsea and along the Thames.
Step 3: If you would like to join in, bring paper and a pen or pencil, and I will be giving you 9 drawing challenges through the tour.
Step 4: This walk is curated by Natasha Godfrey, featuring the work of: J.M.Whistler (The MET archive) Andrea Deng @andreadeng_art Natasha Godfrey @londonillustrator Please check out our Instagram’s for more illustrations.
Step 5: We start our walk in Sloane Square. Formally known as Hans Town, it was laid out in 1771 and named after Sir Hans Sloan, an Irish doctor.
Step 6: This is a great place to begin drawing. Most illustrations start with a sketch - behind most artists is a sketchbook filled with drawings.
