  Step 1: Start at the car park signposted Brechfa forest. There are often temporary toilets here too. Most of the pics on this walk are from winter.

• 

  Step 2: Avoid straying onto the mountain bike trails. Look for the yellow flashes and arrows

• 

  Step 3: In summer if you have clear days you can see the forest for miles

• 

  Step 4: You can go left or right at the start. Left will give you the hardest part of the trail with the best views first. Right will start gently.

• 

  Step 5: The odd post may be down but the route is well marked.

• 

  Step 6: This is a good walk for all seasons- even grey winter like here
