  Step 1: Park in the village, head towards the pub (you might like to visit later), follow the road right, sometimes there’s a donkey - hee-haw!

• 

  Step 2: Head down the bridleway, I once played chicken with a determined toad here, but you might see bluebells.

• 

  Step 3: Walk the verdant way, look for a stile on the left.

• 

  Step 4: Across the field to a stile, maybe cuckoo flowers in bloom, or a cuckoo call, the pulse of the landscape, a heart hidden in distant oaks.

• 

  Step 5: Over the stile and turn left. Follow the river of human habit through the buttercups.

• 

  Step 6: You’ll find a bridge, pause and listen to the stream speak of its bed, in whispering tones as gentle as the nature that surrounds.
