• 

  Step 1: First, walk up Venton East Hill (affectionately know by locals as: Vent-Neese)

• 

  Step 2: From behind the church, walk through the square and turn left to the side of the Co-op.

• 

  Step 3: Go left after the bus stop, and continue going straight. Please keep any dogs on the lead due to cars and narrow roads.

• 

  Step 4: Continue past the Play park / Skate park. Head through Carralack (a small hamlet) and at the gate turn sharp right. This is scrabbly lane.

• 

  Step 5: Continue down and through the town at the bottom. Turn right before you reach the YHA.

• 

  Step 6: Go through and this will take you out onto the main road down to Cot Valley and turn left.
