• Step 1: This is a flat circular walk around parkland area next to a reservoir, water sports and a heritage railway. This walk starts off at Pool Ln, Burntwood WS8 7NL. There is paid parking onsite. Bring change.

• 

  Step 2: This walk starts & ends at The Shed coffee shop where you can buy drinks, gelato, slushies & cakes. With your back to the shop, turn left.

• 

  Step 3: Follow the flat tarmac path along the waterfront. The reservoir is on your right.

• 

  Step 4: You should be able to spot wildfowl such as swans, ducks, coots and moorhens. Please don’t feed them bread as it’s not nutritional.

• 

  Step 5: Follow the path as it turns into a wooden boardwalk. Be mindful of the steep drop on the right.

• 

  Step 6: The path will continue to snake alongside the water. In wet or wintry weather the dirt path may be flooded or muddy.
