  Step 1: Stop off here to eat now, or stock up on scones, snacks or a cuppa tea. We liked the cheese scone the best. Mmmm yum!

  Step 2: Keep an eye out for all the tall ships that line this mini harbour. Look out for the Poldark fans, they’ll be plenty of them.

• 

  Step 3: Charlestown is postcard perfect. The port was developed in late C18th from the fishing village of West Polmear & remains mostly unchanged.
