• Step 1: This route heads to the riverside and National Space Centre via the new Charles Bennion footbridge. Take care at roads and use pedestrian crossings where present. Watch out for cyclists along the riverside paths - a popular cycle route.

  Step 2: Start from Belgrave Library on Cossington Street.

• 

  Step 3: Head along Cossington Street. Cross over Rendel Road with care and continue ahead to the main road, Belgrave Road. There turn left.

• 

  Step 4: Head to the pedestrian crossing. When safe, cross Belgrave Road.

• 

  Step 5: On the far side, turn left and pass The Balmoral.

• 

  Step 6: Very soon, turn right into Wand Street.
