  Step 1: This step-free walk starts from Bramhall station, served by regular trains from Stockport and Manchester. Buses also run close by.

• Step 2: Please note that parts of this walk may be damp, muddy and slippery at any time of year and especially after periods of wet weather. Please bear this in mind when planning your trip.

• 

  Step 3: Exit platform 2 via the step-free ramp with a rail either side. Unfortunately the access to and from platform 1 is not totally step-free.

• 

  Step 4: Follow the ramp from platform 2 as it curves right towards Hartington Road. Cross it via dropped pavements.

• 

  Step 5: Continue in the same direction along the wide right-hand pavement of Bramhall Lane South.

• 

  Step 6: Cross Ladythorn Road via dropped pavements and the central island.
