• 

  Step 1: This walk starts where the South Downs Way meets the A283. There is parking on the lay-by and a coffee hut.

• 

  Step 2: Head onto the South Downs Way which runs parallel to the road here. There are info boards on the local area. Follow the path to the right.

• 

  Step 3: You’ll soon meet the River Adur. Head over the bridge.

• 

  Step 4: On the other side, turn right so that you’re walking with the water to your right.

• Step 5: At the next path junction, head left to walk away from the river.

• 

  Step 6: Shortly after, at the next path junction. Turn right along the bridle way.
