Bodiam Castle

1. 

   Step 1: Bodiam Castle near Robertsbridge is a National Trust property and well worth a visit whether you are an NT member or not!

2. 

   Step 2: We arrived for lunch and filled our bellies in the cafe before visiting the 🏰. We had a lovely hot pot btw.

3. 

   Step 3: Follow the path to start the short walk to the castle.

4. 

   Step 4: Our little ones followed the map to the castle.

5. 

   Step 5: We came across this! During World War II, these bunkers were used for the defense of the United Kingdom against a possible enemy invasion.

6. 

   Step 6: We walked around the moat to find the entrance imagining what life must have been like during the Hundred Years’ War.
