  Step 1: This walk starts at the Blaenau Ffestiniog station, served by trains on the Conwy Valley Line plus the Ffestiniog narrow gauge railway.

• 

  Step 2: Walk along the platform to exit the station.

• 

  Step 3: At the bus station, bear left to follow the access track up to the main road.

• 

  Step 4: Head through the large slate pillars, celebrating the town's history as a slate mining centre.

• 

  Step 5: Turn right onto the High Street. There are toilets in the centre of town if you cross the road and head up to the left.

• 

  Step 6: Continue along the High Street.
