• 

  Step 1: Your walk starts opposite the Elephant and Castle pub, on the junction of Main Street and Church Street.

• 

  Step 2: Turn right and walk along Main Street. You will pass Thurlaston Chapel, originally a Baptist Chapel, built in 1787 and rebuilt in 1842.

• 

  Step 3: Approaching the end of the houses before the Garden Centre, you will see what remains of a Victorian sewage stench pipe.

• 

  Step 4: Shortly before reaching the garden centre, take the footpath on the left.

• 

  Step 5: Continue along the footpath until you cross a small concrete bridge over the brook, then follow the field along the M69 motorway.

• 

  Step 6: Cross over the M69 using the farm track.
