• 

  Step 1: Start the walk in the car park of Jubilee Park. You will see a granite stone from a lost Medieval church.

• Step 2: Turn left out of the car park down the main road.

• 

  Step 3: After a short distance turn right into a footpath, keep right and head towards the bridge.

• 

  Step 4: Cross the bridges. This is a Medieval stone packhorse bridge from the 15th century.

• Step 5: Infront of you is the former site of Enderby Mill, one of three mills in the area recorded in the 1086 Domesday Book. This mill was worth an est. 5 shillings (so quite productive) while the others including one in Whetstone were 2 shillings

• Step 6: Another former building on this site was the Blaby Union Workhouse, built in 1837 by the Poor Law Commission. It could take 350 inmates from across the district who performed brutal labour just to earn a living.
