• 

  Step 1: From Lanark Fire Station, cross Cleghorn Road, turn right and walk towards the playpark at Bellfield Road.

• 

  Step 2: At the bend, head down to the left onto Bellfield Road. The playpark will be on your right.

• 

  Step 3: Pass by the houses and continue along Bellfield Road fringed with woodland and farmland.

• 

  Step 4: At the junction with the sign for Leichefurde and Beechside House, follow the waymarker up to the right.

• 

  Step 5: Continue uphill where the path offers lovely views across farmland towards Lanark.

• 

  Step 6: Continue uphill with Leichefurde Equestrian Centre and Kennels on your left.
