• Step 1: Starting at Barry Island station, walking out around Nell's Point, take in the luxurious houses with balconies and turrets.

• Step 2: Cross Nells Point, ogling the expensive looking houses with balconies and turrets overlooking the sea

• Step 3: Cross the greenspace above Jackson's Bay and turn right as you hit the road. Head downhill. If you are walking past allotments uphill you've gone too far.

• 

  Step 4: Take a right down to Jackson's Bay. This downhill is as steep as it gets on this walk.

• 

  Step 5: Down at Jackson's Bay there's a coffee shop, sauna and public toilets.

• 

  Step 6: Jackson's Bay has a flat concrete path around to Barry beach when the tide is out. You walk across the sand to get to it.
