• Step 1: You can begin your walk at Beccles station. Trains to & from Lowestoft, Ipswich, Halesworth, Woodbridge & Saxmundham run from here. Now continue down Station Road.

• 

  Step 2: Welcome to this short tour of Beccles, which starts here at the Public Hall. You’ll now need to turn right onto Smallgate.

• Step 3: Beccles is a thriving market town that is steeped in history. You’ll find independent businesses, quaint architecture & beautiful narrow streets.

• 

  Step 4: As you walk along Smallgate, pass Ristorante Piatto, a popular Italian Restaurant

• 

  Step 5: You now need to turn left onto Old Market. Ahead of you will be the Bear & Bells pub.

• 

  Step 6: There are also public toilets here should you need a comfort break
