  Step 1: This walk starts at the open space next to Symonds Yat viewpoint and the Log Cabin cafe. There are plenty of picnic benches here.

• 

  Step 2: Stock up on delicious refreshments from the cafe if you like, then walk past it on the wide compacted earth path.

• 

  Step 3: When you reach the small accessible car park, turn right on the path pass a few large boulders which span the path.

• 

  Step 4: Head downhill and you'll come to the larger car park and a toilet block and information boards.

• 

  Step 5: Just past the toilets, pass the wooden bollards and carefully cross through the car park.

• 

  Step 6: Continue along the access track for the car park, taking care to look and listen for vehicles.
