  • Step 1: This walk starts at the canal bridge at the end of Yarnton Road (OX 1UH) near the Kidlington Football Club. The nearby bus stop is served by buses 2A and 700 to and from Oxford Parkway Station. Free download available.

  • Step 2: Please note that sections of this walk will be very muddy in wet or wintry weather. There are also several stiles to traverse.

  • Cross over the Yarnton Road bridge on the right hand side. Please be very mindful of cars coming each way.

  • The footpath is very narrow. Keep right. At the other side of the bridge, cross over Yarnton road to move to the left hand side.

  • Ignore the track as in the picture which is very muddy and look far left for a footpath sign.
