  Step 1: The Longboat Inn opposite Penzance station offers a left luggage service, £3 per item. Handy if you want to wander round town luggage free.

• 

  Step 2: The Exchange Art Gallery has a lovely cafe and is a good place to while away some time if it’s awful weather outside!

• 

  Step 3: It’s handily dog friendly so the whole family can enjoy the space. At just £3 for entrance to both galleries (under 18s free) it’s a bargain

• 

  Step 4: There’s a walking trail between the two galleries, The Exchange and Newlyn Art Gallery. This walk shows part of the trail.

• 

  Step 5: The Egyptian House on Chapel Street was built to house rocks and minerals collected by mineralogist, John Lavin. You can’t miss it!

• 

  Step 6: The Admiral Benbow pub (dog friendly) is said to be named after the inn in Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stephenson.
